I can finally BREATHE!!!

Oh yes!! I can finally breathe after 2 weeks of exams!!I was suffocating during the whole exam period!! I don't like this semester and I am so glad that it has finally come to an end!

First paper was Sociology...It was really really really really (x1000000000000 times) terrible!!! How can some people actually come up with all this kind of questions?! Maybe the paper is easy to some people.. But definitely not me... I guess I don't have the foundation of this subject I guess... And if i were to fail this paper, I just hope that the lecturer setting this question is not him! And if i see him again around campus... I might just kill him!

Web Page Design was not too bad... The question was ok.. Not as tough as I thought it was... Our lecturer, Mr. Edwin is such a wonderful lecturer... I mean, where can you find such patient lecturer that keep repeating what you don't understand during lecture until you understand it?

Writing for Mass Communication... Gosh... All the press release.. press invite.. news stories... Gah! I can finally forget all of them! =P

Writing for Business... Letters, Memorandum, Grammar, Vocabulary... English english and more english =S

Marketing and Management... Not too bad... At least I get to answer... I don't expect much from these 2 papers cause I studied it last minute...

I am very very very very very SURE that my CGPA is going to drop like people skiing down from the mountain!! =S
I just hope that it will not turn out as bad as I thought it will turn out to be.. =S

Busy Busy Busy

Been very busy lately... Assignments, presentations then assignments and presentations again..
Finally I can have this week free with no assignments and presentations... BUT!!! Finals are around the conner... Starts on the 10th of September and ends only on the 25th!!

Semester 2 is coming to an end and I have definitely learned a lot more this semester. Throughout this semester, I learn that there are many different types of people around me. From nice to meanie people!!

Those nice people that I've encounter is definitely my darlings! They are always the best!! Why? Thats because they are always there whenever I need them! Anywhere, anytime! Oh, and they are people who always listens to all my grumblings and etc etc.. =P

As for those meanie people, there is definitely more than one. I am not going to mention names here because there was once where one of my lecturer told me that is not good to mention names on blogs.. I mean when you want to say something bad about that someone.. Hehe! Which is true.. Because if lets say that person reads your blog... You are DOOMED!! No?

Okay.. As I was saying, MEANIE people! How do they act when they are around you? They act INNOCENT! Some of them act like they DON'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY... Some of them when they argue, they just raise their voice thinking that you will be scared of them when you are actually not.. Some of them (actually not some but one =P) will just say " Don't act so innocent, I know what you did *when*" Hello? I don't know what on earth are you trying to say... I have no idea when is the *when* you are talking about.. I don't remember anything I did before that which is similar to what you did.. Moreover, you asked for everything that we did.. Not me! Not us!

Gah... Enough of all these meanie people.. If I were to talk more about these people, it is going to take me ages to finish this entry.. Lol...

Final exams are around the conner, wishing all those people who will be sitting for their exams all the best and good luck!! =P
I won't be blogging that often because I haven't been studying properly for this semester! Need to work harder!!

Taken from Cherrie's blog

You Are a Skin Deep Sweetheart

You may be supermodel gorgeous or a plain Jane.
It really doesn't matter, because you're confident and secure.
You don't go out looking like a slob, but you are low maintenance.
You have better things to worry about than whether your nails are the right shade!

Your Brain is Green

Of all the brain types, yours has the most balance.
You are able to see all sides to most problems and are a good problem solver.
You need time to work out your thoughts, but you don't get stuck in bad thinking patterns.

You tend to spend a lot of time thinking about the future, philosophy, and relationships (both personal and intellectual).

Your Dominant Intelligence is Spatial Intelligence

You've got a good sense of space and how the world around you looks.
You can close your eyes and "see" images. You have innate artistic talent.
An eye for color and shapes, you're also a natural designer.
Since you think in pictures, visual aids and demonstartions help you learn best.

You would make a good navigator, sculptor, visual artist, inventor, architect, interior designer, or engineer.

Your Pride Quotient: 30%

You're a little prideful, but nothing out of the norm.
Like everyone, you enjoy attention. But you're also good at sharing the spotlight!

Thank You!!

This post is specially for my darlings, Jolyn, Uree, Christine and Shaki...

Thanks for the present that you all gave me...

I love it ! And I love you guys too!! =Pp

Life in UTAR would be dull without all of you...

Without you guys around, there will be NO :

  • Loud laughter in UTAR, in bus and basically everywhere

  • Captain Jack Sparrow walk (Jolyn, u can do the best Captain Jack Sparrow walk EVER!)

  • WTC! (Uree came up with this to replace some words which we can't say in front of Mommy Jolyn)

  • New language to learn- Tamil (pochi, pandi, etc etc), Shaki's language

  • Walking in the rain and yet have so much of fun

  • Yelling at people calling them "LOSERS!!" - Jolyn

  • "Don't look at me like you are judging me" - Uree

  • Nasi Lemak for most of the meals in UTAR

  • Great assignment group members!!

See! What more can I ask from them? They are just AWESOME!! Muacks!!

Mass communication Assigment- Press Conference

Saturday(21st July 2007) - 2days before the press conference

Met Shaki and Christine at the Asia Jaya LRT station at about 9 or 10am... Waited for Uree a while then she text us to ask us to go ahead first because she is going to be late... So we went and fetch my sis from Taman Jaya LRT station and then went to Parkson and waited for Uree to arrive...

After that we went and buy all the ingredients needed and then went back home... Before starting our work, we went for lunch at the cafeteria downstairs next to the swimming pool...

Bottom is the picture of us coating the brownies and cleaning up...

Pictures taken on Saturday(21st July) while making the chocolate

Uree and Christine stayed over that night and we went and watch Vacancy that night at about 11+pm... After movie, we went down to KL and passed by all the clubs... That night was fantastic! But it would be even better if I can stay a lil later... =(

Taken after movie-Vacancy

Monday (23rd July 2007) - Press conference Day

We were the 1st host group to do the press conference... Overall, I think the press conference was ok... It wasn't bad! Well, at least Miss Gertrude didn't say anything much about it... Haha!!
Oh ya! And thanks to daddy... We had a nice design package and also mocked cheque!! =P

Ok, picture time...

Sorry Jo, I have to put the pictures below... Is just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!! =P

Cute? =)

Thats all for now... Too lazy to type.. Ciaoz!!

25th July 2007-Sociology test

I am suppose to be doing my Web Page Design Assignment now but I got tired of all the stupid HTML coding… Argh!! The hotspot thingy isn’t working! I hate it when I can’t get the code right! HTML is just like Maths! If you get the codes right, then is fun… if you tried so many freaking times and you still can’t get that freaking code… that is when you just feel like throwing the whole book away!! =Pp

Anyway, I had Sociology mid term test today…

I didn’t study for it.. I SERIOUSLY didn’t study… Whenever I try reading the book, is like as though the book let out some “sleeping gas” or something… It makes me feel SUPER sleepy!! It reminds me of how I used to study for HISTORY and ended up falling asleep!! Haha!!

Anyway, our sociology lecturer told us last week that we will have our test during lecture but when we asked him today, he told us that the office doesn’t allow therefore he have to set the time later because we have to wait for other streams to finish their class…

So our (Uree, Christine, Shaki, Theyv and I) plan was canceled due to the test… we were suppose to go to Memorial Tunku Abdul Rahman today to look for information for Management Assignment which is going to due in another 2 weeks if I am not mistaken… Management Assignment and Web Page Design Assignment is due on the same week… (I think) After that should be all the presentations… *sigh*

Hmm… What else do I have next week?

Ohya! Not forgetting, Web Page Design presentation during lecture! Need to do a lot of reading on that… *sigh*

Anyway, where was I? Ohya! Sociology test!

Our test starts at 3pm and ends at 4pm… The test was held at PE007… When it was almost time, we (Jolyn, Uree, Shaki, Christine and I) walked to the canteen to get ice creams before walking to PE block..

By the time we reached there, it was still early so we waited in an empty classroom where Shaki became our Sociology lecturer… We asked a lot of questions and make all kinds of jokes!!

At 2++ almost 3, we were allowed to enter the lecture room… Our sociology lecturer invigilated us together with this staff/lecturer with serious attitude problem… In fact, I think most of their staffs and some of the lecturers have serious attitude problems!

She came in the class, the first thing she did…she yelled like a mad women who just ESCAPED from Tanjung Rambutan! We have ears and we are not deaf… If you want to shout, you don’t have to use the microphone… when you shout, your voice is loud enough to be heard by the whole class…is not like you are at an open area or something… Noise travels through the channel… Which means noise travel through the classroom… If you wanna use the microphone, then SPEAK… not YELL … Hello? Eardrums are sensitive… Once it is torn, you can’t replace them…

Moreover we (Jolyn, Uree, Christine, Shaki and I) were just speaking SOFTLY… is not like we can make the whole classroom noisy right? If you want to scold us, you don’t have to use the microphone… we are sitting right in front of you and you don’t have to give us that kind of stare… You don’t respect other people and you expect people to respect you? So what if you are elder than all of us? This doesn’t mean that you can scold and stare as you wish… We are no longer secondary school kids… we know how to fight for our own rights… Oh and not forgetting, without us (students) you won’t be able to get your salary!

The staffs here seriously have those tidak apa attitude… I went to the office a few times… those staffs there, they just SIT at their chairs and couldn’t even be bothered to walk to the desk and help you… This is an OFFICE for god’s sake… When there is someone at the desk, you are supposed to walk up to the desk and help that particular person even though he/she is just a student! Arghh!!

Okay, enough of all these craps! Need to get back to work! Ciaoz!

Nothing much..

Been busy with mass comm. assignment these few days.. There is so much to do but yet so little time!!

We just found out that our press conference is next week Monday!!

Shaki was shocked that she kept asking Ms Gertrude the same question! Haha..

Well, I’ll upload the photos of the press conference and our product as soon as possible!!

That’s all for now.. Need to start working on the design!!

Ciaoz!

Stevie Wonder - That's What Friends Are For

Verse 1
And I
Never thought I'd feel this way
And as far as I'm concerned I'm glad I got the chance to say
That I do believe I love you

And if I should ever go away
Well then close your eyes and try to feel the way we do today
And than if you can't remember.....

Chorus
Keep smilin'
Keep shinin'

Knowin' you can always count on me
for sure
that's what friends are for

In good times
And bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for

Verse 2
Well you came and open me
And now there's so much more I see
And so by the way I thank you....

Ohhh and then
For the times when we're apart
Well just close your eyes and know
These words are coming from my heart
And then if you can't remember....Ohhhhh

(Repeat chorus 3x)

(Stevie talking)
Mmmhmm thats what friends are for mmmhmm yea

So, are you my friend or more than that?

Today Jolyn represented TB2 and told Miss Getrude that we want to stick back to our own groups.. Which means 4 groups and not 6 She said she is ok with it but from the look of her face, something tells you that she is not happy about it.. We also told her that we would make sure we have something to talk about for the assignment!! Everyone felt so much better! Well, at least the few of us do.. Haha..

Marketing Test tomorrow!! And I just don’t have the mood to study! I am having a terrible headache now and whatever I study, will not get into my brains and store there! It will just go in, and then come out.. Great isn’t it?

I just hope that our Sociology lecturer will just stop craping during his class so that I can study for the Marketing test!!

Good Luck to everyone who will be sitting for their test!! =)

Ciaoz!!

MASS COMM

I HATE MASS COMM!!

How can you just change your mind out of a sudden and expect your students to follow everything you say?
We are not some FREAKING JOURNALISTS!!
We do not work for deadlines!!
We are just STUDENTS!!
You cannot expect us to choose a new topic in less than 24 hours and expect it to be good since you said you have high expectations on all your students..
You should have told us that you want 6 groups last week, not this week!!
How do you expect us to choose a new topic in such short time when we have other things to do besides mass comm?!

My mood totally went down the drain today when you told us that you know?!
*well, not only me.. Jo and Uree too..*

We planned everything already and now we have to do it all over again?!
Do you know how much of brain cells did you killed?!
Separating our groups is so NOT a good thing.. * sigh*

Gosh.. I hate this! :'(
